A BUSY WEEK FOR FEPCIG – The last, it was a busy week for FEPCIG as they had contact tours. The Director Mr. LAIBEH HERBERT CHAH with some members of his team started by visiting an Adult Literacy Centre at Bobong in Njinikom Sub Division of the Republic of Cameroon.
This group of women are each above the age of 50 but thanks to FEPCIG CAMEROON, they have accepted to go to school to be able to read and write and be able to operate cell phones in a bit to improve upon their living standards.
They were given exercise books, pens, salt, matches and Maggi. FEPCIG Director offered to give cell phones to the first 5 woman who will be able to send and receive texts messages by phone as they are taught when he shall visit them in a months time. They were so excited and promised to study hard in order to get the promised phones. Below are the women in class.

Next was the contact with the old People’s Club of Ibal Anjang in Belo Sub Division of the Republic of Cameroon. Here, the Director taught them to be of good morale and love the youths so that they can have a much longer lifespan.When the Director asked them to say what they really need in order to have a good psychological state, they all said “We need a grinding mill”.
The Director was deeply touched as he promised them that he shall seek for help elsewhere and provide them with the grinding mill as soon as it is ready. At this time, the women all stood up dancing and singing “we need your help, we rely on you, FEPCIG help us”. The Director gave them salt, Maggi and matches.
